This is the yarn you will find for sale in many of the weekly markets across the country. The yarn is commercially spun at a mill and is made with wool from different breeds of sheep in Morocco. Because the yarn is a mix of wool, the quality and staple length varies. Producers often mix in synthetic threads to improve tensile strength. Market Wool yarns tend to have a lot of kemp and the dye absorption overall is not as rich as with 100% Middle Atlas or High Atlas wool yarn.
Our Market Wool yarn lines are sourced from the best the market has to offer. We buy un-dyed skeins and use people and planet-friendly products to produce a variety of colors at an economical rate.
Each Market Wool yarn line comes in a variety of colors. Click the images below to see the available colors.
